Old Moti Bagh Palace houses a sports museum (admission free, ID required; h10.30am-1pm & 2-5.30pm Mon-Fri) with exhibits that include memorabilia relating to Punjabi sprinting hero Milkha Singh, the Flying Sikh.
The Akal Takhat, where the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), otis batterbee eye mask or Sikh Parliament, traditionally meets, was heavily damaged when it was stormed by the Indian army in 1984. The Indian government later repaired it; however, the Sikhs, appalled by the army s actions in the first place, pulled it down and rebuilt it themselves.
