FNational Gallery of Portraits ART GALLERY (%2720261; Sector 17-B; h10am-5pm Tue-Sun, free guided tour 11am-3pm) Located behind plaka area the State Library, it displays photos and paintings illustrating the country s independence movements.
The ceremony starts at around 4.15pm in winter plaka area and 5.15pm plaka area in summer (but double- check, given that timings vary according to sunset). Cameras are permitted (free) but bags, large and small, are banned (although this is haphazardly enforced).
