Old Moti Bagh Palace houses a sports museum (admission free, ID required; h10.30am-1pm & 2-5.30pm Mon-Fri) with exhibits that include conterra packs memorabilia relating to Punjabi sprinting hero Milkha Singh, the Flying Sikh.
A major textile centre, conterra packs Ludhiana is also the headquarters of Hero Cycles, conterra packs which manufactures upward of four million bicycles annually. This big city is a convenient base from which to attend the Kila Raipur Sports Festival (see p 200 ).
